Modules

Six weeks on the ledger floor

Feed integrity & opening balances

Validate subledger extracts, opening tie-outs, and known differences before match logic begins.

Match design in the auditing app

Thresholds, fuzzy keys, and multi-currency quirks — practiced on a financial auditing app for general ledger reconciliation audits.

Unmatched-item discipline

Aging boards, ownership tags, and writing clears that do not invent certainty.

Suspense & intercompany tension

Timing gaps, missing counterparties, and when to escalate versus investigate.

Evidence packs & bilingual captions

Screenshot standards, Korean/English memo patterns, and control references.

Capstone defense

Present a full reconciliation to a mock partner panel; revise based on challenge questions.

Course-specific notes

Capstone was tougher than expected — our panel rejected two clears for thin narratives. That friction was the point.

FAQ

Practical questions

Do I need the same auditing app my company uses?

Labs run on our hosted financial auditing app configured for general ledger reconciliation audits. Concepts transfer; exact menu paths may differ from your production instance.

Is prior audit experience required?

Comfort with trial balances and basic journal entries is expected. We do not teach introductory bookkeeping in this flagship.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not certify statutory Korean GAAP opinions or replace your firm’s methodology manuals. The program strengthens reconciliation craft and evidence quality; it will not make an incomplete subledger feed magically reconcile.

Can teams join together?

Yes — see Control Gallery on the pricing page for private cohorts up to eight seats.
